Full-bodied and elegant, with balanced acidity, resulting in a lengthy finish. Pair with medium or hard cheeses, dried meats or a hearty braised dish. &#8220;Alanera&#8221; translates as &#8220;black wing&#8221;, a reference to the raven, &#8220;corvo&#8221;, in Italian. An homage to the Valipolicella region&#8217;s revered indigenous grape, &#8220;corvina&#8221;. Extra richness and luxury stem from an innovative twist on the traditional winemaking. 50% of all the grapes used to make this wine are dried for 45-60 days after harvest.
