Fuji apples are a red-pink apple with striping and blush. Fuji apples are crunchy and low in acid, creating a mild and balanced, sweet-tart flavor with notes of honey and citrus. They are sweeter and crispier than most apples making them very popular around the world. They have a very long shelf life of up to a year in refrigeration but can also be stored without refrigeration for longer than average. Fuji apples were first cultivated out of Japan and China, but are now also grown in Washington, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York and California.
